Former Cumberland County Trustee Burxie Allen Copeland has passed away at the age of 92.

She worked in banking and finance for many years before beginning her career as Cumberland County Trustee in 1974. She held the position until her retirement in 1990.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
