Police officers in Crossville went to a building Tuesday morning on Miller Bypass for a burglary.

The caller on scene told dispatch the intruder was a Caucasian male, standing 6 foot tall, with dark hair and a black jacket. The burglar fled the area before police arrived.

A door frame and door were damaged by force with a tool to gain entry inside.

The building served as a storage facility for a business in town.

The report did not state if anything was taken.

The incident is under investigation.
