Park officials say the Dollywood Express train derailed last night around 8:30 p.m.

All passengers were evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Officials say the train experienced a “mechanical issue” in the incident.

Witnesses state the third train car derailed while the other cars and the engine stayed on the track.

Park officials will release more information at a later time.

The Dollywood Express is a 110-ton coal-fired steam engine that takes guests on a trip around the park.
