Cumberland County Fire Department units responded just after 3 a.m. today to a fully engulfed residence at 1041 Flathead Road in Crossville.

A deceased individual was discovered inside the residence.

The identity of the person has not been confirmed at this time.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the fire’s circumstances.
