State officials say unemployment rates across the board are down in the latest figures released in the area except Cumberland County which remained the same. Cumberland County stayed at 4.4% last month.

Roane County fell to 3.7% and Morgan County dropped to 3.8%.

Fentress County dropped to 3.5% from 3.8%, Overton came in at 3.4% while Putnam is 3.5%.

White County is 3.5% and Pickett County rose to 4.7%.

Pickett, Clay, and Van Buren placed in the top 10 highest unemployment numbers in the state.
