ANOTHER UTILITY POLE STRUCK BY VEHICLE KNOCKING OUT POWER IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

For the second time in two days, a vehicle collided with a utility pole in Cumberland County, knocking out power.
Crossville police and medics responded to an area on Cook Road Saturday night. The collision with the vehicle and utility pole resulted in no power to numerous Volunteer Electric customers.
The Crossville Police Department will release an accident report of the crash soon.
The first happened late Thursday night on the 6,000 block of Lantana Road, involving a vehicle colliding with a utility pole. It knocked out power to over 2,100 VEC customers for hours. No injuries were reported in the accident.
