The Fentress County Sheriff’s Department will conduct sobriety checkpoints this Friday (March 15, 2024) from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m. Saturday in efforts to help rid the roadways of impaired drivers.

The checkpoints may be located on Highway 127, Highway 62, and Highway 85.

Officers in Fentress County will be paying special attention to the impaired driver who has chosen poorly to drink and drive on these roadways.
