County officials say the former Jamestown Regional Medical Center facility has been sold at a delinquent tax sale at the Fentress County Justice Center.

The hospital had not paid taxes in two years.

The purchase will clear a year of delinquent taxes for the new owner, but the remaining year must be paid.

The current owner, who was not identified, is not in the medical field.
