NOCATEE TRACE MAN CAUSES DISRUPTION

On Monday at 2:15, a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Volunteer Behavioral Health. The deputy attempted to speak to the resident, who was described as yelling, paranoid, cursing, calling the deputy god, and accusing the deputy of wanting to shoot him.
The suspect refused voluntary transport for a mental evaluation.
After backup arrived, the suspect was handcuffed and transported to Cumberland Medical Center for Involuntary Mental Evaluation.
