CROSSVILLE REC CENTER COST DECREASES, PLANS TO WRAP UP IN FALL

Costs for the Crossville Recreation Center started off at $65 million but were recently revealed to have dropped close to $38 million, almost half the original estimate.
Kevin Chamberlain of Upper Design Group said his team is working their way down and is confident in the estimates of American Constructors of Brentwood.
Plans for the planned three-story building include: an indoor aquatic facility featuring a competition size 7 foot-deep indoor pool, gym, exercise classes, child-care area, sauna, Indoor walking tracks, exercise areas, and a meeting space.
