Earlier today, Deputy Shawn Aytes responded to the Exxon on Westel Road for a stolen vehicle report. Once on scene, the deputy spoke to the owner of the vehicle, who said she and her friend stopped at the gas station as the gas station had opened up.

While in the store for about 15 minutes, the victim said that when she came out a lady that was parked in the parking lot witnessed the incident and told her that 2 males with masks on, took her car.

The victim said she had the key to the car, and it was locked.

A review of footage from store cameras showed a trio driving a white Ford Escape, which was entered into NCIC and Flock.

A note on the report says that just before this theft, Crossville Police units were working on a similar theft that occurred at Buckee’s involving the same white Ford, with a firearm being stolen.
