PROTECTION CALL TURNS INTO DRUG ARREST

On Sunday at approximately 2:51 a.m. Officer Amy Sherill was dispatched to room 242 of the Executive Inn on Highway 127 in reference to an order of protection violation. The caller advised that the respondent of an order of protection had threatened the protected party and was now hiding in the wood line near the room.
Upon arriving, officers checked the woodline but did not make contact with anyone or see any signs of anyone having walked through the grass leading to the woods. Officer Sherill made contact with a man and a female at the room. The female was highly agitated and did not want to provide information about the incident but was convinced by the man with her to speak with officers.
Though she initially gave the name Brandy Davis, a check of that name showed no active order of protection. Her ID showed her as actually being Brandy Gosline and a check of her ID through NCIC showed there were no active orders of protection with her as a protected party but that she instead had two Cumberland County warrants for simple possession of methamphetamine and Suboxone.
Gosline was placed into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office without incident where she was served two warrants.
