On 11/26/2024, City Police responded to Buc-ee’s for a theft report and to escort an employee out of the business. The Officer arrived on scene and spoke with management and the employee who was being terminated for stealing beef jerky. The employee stated he was throwing away an open bag of beef jerky because the item cannot be sold if it is opened.

While he was throwing away the item a piece of beef jerky fell into his hands, He placed the piece of beef jerky into his mouth and consumed the product without paying. Due to Buc-ee’s policy the employee was terminated. Buc-ee’s requested a report regarding this matter.
