DRIVER FALLS ASLEEP AND HITS TREE IN DEC. 7TH CRASH; NO FATALITIES

According to a report by the Tennessee Highway patrol, On Dec. 7th, a 2015 Cadillac Escalade was traveling West on Interstate 40 in the left lane near the 335-mile marker when it ran off the roadside right and made contact with the embankment traveling approximately 25′ from the roadway before coming to final rest against a tree.
The driver stated that he fell asleep which caused the vehicle to exit the roadway and make contact with the embankment and tree.
There were no fatalities, thankfully. But the driver, Jayson R. Flumara, and two of his three passengers, a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old, would sustain injuries.
