TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AND OUTSTANDING WARRANTS IN ROCKWOOD

BBBTV12 – Rockwood Police Officer Garrett arrested two individuals Monday night on drug-related charges and outstanding warrants.
According to the Rockwood Police Department report, the arrests occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Officer Garrett conducted a traffic stop in the driveway of a residence on the 500 block of South Kingston Avenue. The officer had been following the vehicle, driven by Somer Stevens, which was found to have an expired tag.
A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Damion Goldberg, was also present. A check through central dispatch revealed that both Stevens and Goldberg had active warrants for their arrests.
During the subsequent investigation, evidence of illegal drug use was discovered. Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Roane County Jail, where they were held without bond.
