FORD MUSTANG SPINS OUT OF CONTROL ON NORTHSIDE DRIVE

On Friday last week close to midnight, Officer Amy Sherill was dispatched to Northside Drive and Riverview Drive for a single-vehicle crash with possible injuries. Once on scene, the officer observed the driver of a silver 2002 Ford Mustang, Harley Ellenburg, who said that she was traveling north on Northside Drive.
The driver said when she was navigating the curve between the two entrances of Riverview Drive, she lost control of her vehicle and it spun into a full circle before going into a ditch and on its passenger side. She said that as the vehicle came to a stop, it fell back upright and she was able to safely exit the vehicle.
The officer observed rocky debris in the roadway where the Mustang spun and through gravel for the side of the roadway. Ellenburg was taken to Cumberland Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services and her vehicle was towed due to damage.
No charges were filed as it was a complete accident.
