ORIGINAL STORY: Volunteer Energy Cooperative and calls from listeners have reported a power outage, affecting somewhere between 655 to 1,200 homes. According to listeners, the power outage is also affecting traffic lights on Main Street and likely more areas.

When approaching an intersection with non-functioning traffic lights, motorists are advised to treat the intersection like a four-way stop.
