In an ongoing effort to continue the War on Drugs, Agents with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has recently executed multiple Narcotics related Search Warrants.

On April 2, 2025 the Narcotics Division along with Agents from the 10th District Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Economy Inn in Sweetwater, Agents discovered approximately 4.7 grams of Fentanyl resulting in one arrest.

On April 4, 2025, the Narcotics Division executed a 2nd Narcotics related Search Warrant in the area of Brakebill Road in Vonore, leading to the discovery of approximately 10 grams of the deadly drug Fentanyl resulting in one arrest.

This Fentanyl poison has been related to multiple drug overdoses throughout the Monroe County community and remains a top priority within the Sheriff’s Office and the Narcotics Division.
