HARRIMAN FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO SMALL STRUCTURE FIRE IN SEWANEE AREA

The Harriman Fire Department responded to a call at 722 Sewanee Street around 11:00 AM on Sunday morning regarding a small fire in the upstairs of a residence. As per mutual aid agreements, whenever a structure fire is reported, the Rockwood Fire Department and Kingston Fire Department are typically dispatched.
However, they were turned back once Harriman fire crews arrived on the scene and determined that the fire was minimal.
According to Assistant Chief John Johnson, the fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported at the 722 Sewanee Street residence in Harriman on Sunday morning.
