LEON SHIELDS APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF LENOIR CITY UTILITIES BOARD

The Lenoir City Utilities Board (LCUB) has appointed Leon Shields as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, effective immediately, following a unanimous board vote on March 17, 2025.
Shields, a lifelong Lenoir City resident, has served LCUB since 1991, starting in a part-time janitorial role and advancing to Director in 2022.
With over three decades of experience, he will work alongside CEO Shannon Littleton. Shields has a strong record of civic involvement, including roles with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, Lenoir City Planning Commission, and Tennessee state commissions.
