OAK RIDGE WOMAN CRASHES CAR AT SUTHERLIN SUBARU PARKING LOT IN KINGSTON

On Saturday afternoon, an unusual incident occurred at Sutherlin Subaru on Galliher Road in Kingston. Miriam Griffin from Oak Ridge, while entering the dealership’s parking lot, reportedly confused the brake and gas pedals, causing her vehicle to strike a handicap sign.

The crash slightly damaged the building, and the vehicle’s airbag deployed. Kingston police, fire responders, and an ambulance arrived to investigate. According to Officer Arnold’s report, Griffin declined hospital treatment and was provided a loaner vehicle by Sutherlin Subaru.

The report did not clarify whether she was driving her personal car or test-driving a dealership vehicle.
