On Saturday night around 11:00 PM, Rockwood and Harriman Fire Departments responded to a structure fire at a home on East Dunn Street near Joyner Hollow Road, just outside the city limits.

The home, reportedly vacated by a family but still connected to electricity, sustained fire damage. No injuries were reported. The roadway was blocked for several hours due to fire apparatus. West Roane County Fire Department is leading the investigation, as the location is outside city limits.

Fire crews managed the scene for just over two hours before gaining control.
