MAN ARRESTED WITH METH IN ROCKWOOD

On May 15, 2025, at 1:46 AM, Officer Charles Haubrich of the Rockwood City Police Department stopped a 2013 Toyota Tundra in the parking lot of the Tennessee Driver’s License Center in Rockwood for a light law violation. The driver, Frankie Andrew Fidler, reported his license was suspended due to an Arkansas warrant.
While awaiting dispatch confirmation, Fidler initially hesitated but consented to a vehicle search, claiming the drug paraphernalia in the vehicle had been left by two others. However, since those two had no charges or arrests, they will not be named in this story.
Officer Haubrich and Trooper Jesse Scarbrough searched the vehicle, finding a glass meth pipe and 3.8 grams of methamphetamine in the driver’s door compartment, and 3.2 grams of methamphetamine with two empty baggies in the passenger door compartment. Fidler claimed the drugs belonged to a man in Maryville, and offered to have that man confirm ownership.
Fiddler was arrested for manufacturing/delivering/possessing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sergeant Jared Hall transported him to Roane County Jail, as Haubrich’s K-9 unit prevented transport. Fidler was advised to have the Maryville man mentioned testify in court about the drugs.
The case remains active, with 4 grams of methamphetamine and a meth pipe logged as evidence.
