On May 27, 2025, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office in Maryville, Tennessee, announced they had successfully located Johnny Yarborough, a 75-year-old man, who went missing after leaving his home on Meadow Road on foot last night.

Deputies focused their search in the Meadow Road and Big Springs Road area and urged anyone with information or sightings of Mr. Yarborough to contact the Blount County Communications non-emergency line.

An update later confirmed that Mr. Yarborough was found safe, and the Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for their assistance.
