Tom Pelfrey, a prominent Crossville businessman and entrepreneur, passed away at 80. He founded several companies, including Alpha Equipment, a telecommunication firm. Known for his generosity and down-to-earth nature, he built Buck Creek Ranch, a large estate that served as his home and a welcoming place for others, as well as a popular event venue. Pelfrey supported many local civic organizations. His services will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Buck Creek Ranch.
