Mundy – Hosey Crabtree, age 83, of the Armathwaite community, Passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in Knoxville, TN

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown. Entombment will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11 A.M until time of the service at 1 PM at Mundy Funeral Home.

Hosey was a man of deep faith and unwavering devotion to his family. His greatest pride was his beloved wife Zola and their two sons, Chris and Kevin.  He worked for many years in the defense industry, taking quiet pride in a job well done and in providing for those he held dear. Known for his kind heart, Hosey always had a compliment to share and a way of making others laugh. He loved the Lord with all his heart and found joy in the simple blessings of life—good company, a sweet snack cake, and a hot cup of coffee.

Hosey was preceded in death by his loving wife Zola. He is survived by his two sons, Chris and Kevin, his grandchildren Amanda, Bryant, Nicole and Sara and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom carry his memory in their hearts.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that Hosey is now reunited with his beloved wife in heaven, and that he rests in the eternal peace of the Lord he so faithfully served.
