Cumberland County Fire Department crews responded to a mysterious vehicle fire at the intersection of Brewer Road and Lantana Road on June 17, 2025, at 10 p.m.

The fire completely destroyed the vehicle, making it impossible to identify its make or model. Complicating matters, the owner or driver was not at the scene.

Crews extinguished the fire and cleared the area, but an investigation into the cause would be difficult to pursue.
