WHERE TO SHOOT FIREWORKS IN EAST TENNESSEE

As the Fourth of July approaches, Knoxville, Tennessee, residents are preparing to celebrate with fireworks, but safety and legal restrictions are critical. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises that children should not use fireworks, including sparklers, and recommends keeping a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby for emergencies.
Fireworks should be lit one at a time, and unignited fireworks should not be handled. Residents must check local laws, as regulations vary across East Tennessee counties and cities. Illegal fireworks should be reported using non-emergency phone lines to avoid overloading 911.
