FOUR NOMINATED TO TVA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Trump administration nominated four individuals—Lee Beaman, Mitch Graves, Jeff Hagood, and Randall Jones—to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) board of directors, with terms expiring between 2028 and 2030.
The nominations follow the removal of board members Joe H. Ritch and Michelle Moore, which left the board without a quorum. Without a quorum, the TVA board cannot initiate new programs or change existing operations, per TVA bylaws.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee praised the nominees, highlighting their role in advancing American energy, particularly nuclear energy.
The current TVA board consists of Bill Renick (chairman), Bobby Klein, and Wade White.
