According to a report by Crossville Cumberland County News, the Cumberland County Road Commissioner has contracted a company to mow all county road right-of-ways twice annually, with work starting as early as next week. The company will deploy over eight tractors to mow from dawn to dusk, completing the task in a few weeks and is expected to cost the County Road Commission around $120,000.

Residents should expect to see tractors throughout the county during this period, but the work will be completed quickly.
