In Memphis, Tennessee, Tajee Turnage is accused of fatally shooting his roommate’s boyfriend, Timothy Echols, after witnessing Echols abusing her during a FaceTime call.

Turnage claimed Echols took one of his weapons. Upon arriving at the apartment complex, Turnage shot Echols multiple times, leading to his death. Turnage was arrested at the scene, gave a full statement to police, and has been charged with first-degree murder.
