As a Fire Chief, one the hardest things we face is saying goodbye to one of our very own. I’m trying to comprehend all this because of how sudden and unexpectedly things have happened. I’m at a loss of words for comfort for Jacob’s wife Bridget, his dad, his aunt, his nana, and other family and friends. And for his fellow brothers and sisters in the fire department. Jacob was Jacob, and he fit in exactly where he was supposed to be. I may very well miss him the most when he was our elf for every Christmas party. I’ll always miss his laugh and smile and rolling his eyes at me. Jacob Carr rest In peace little brother.
