AUSTIN DRUMMOND ARRESTED

Austin Drummond, 28, accused of killing four people in Lake County, Tennessee, was captured by U.S. Marshals on August 5, 2025, after a six-day manhunt. The murders, which included the baby’s parents, grandmother, and uncle, were discovered after a baby was found abandoned. Drummond was spotted on video in Jackson, TN, over the weekend and was apprehended near a wooded area after being surrounded by police and SWAT.
He faces first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping charges, with the district attorney expected to seek the death penalty if convicted. Local, state, and federal authorities, along with community cooperation, were instrumental in his capture.
