TWO TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS ON AUGUST 1ST IN CROSSVILLE

On August 1st in Crossville, Tennessee, two separate vehicle accidents occurred, each resulting in injuries.
The first incident, investigated by Officer Jacklyn Grant, took place at the intersection of Miller Avenue and 4th Street, where 78-year-old Susan Leslie Coover Deckert, driving a 2010 Honda CRV southbound, ran a red light and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 34-year-old Edilma Ismael. Ismael was making a left turn eastbound on 4th Street with a green arrow, accompanied by a 4-year-old passenger. A witness confirmed Deckert’s failure to yield, and all involved sustained possible injuries.
The second accident, investigated by Officer Larry Qualls, occurred on Elmore Road when 57-year-old Stephen Ronald Frostick, driving a 2007 Jeep LMD, rear-ended a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Denise Nanette Hoover, who was stopped at a traffic light with her 72-year-old passenger, Margaret Elaine Dunn. Frostick reported his foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator, causing the collision. While Frostick was uninjured, Hoover and Dunn sustained suspected minor injuries.
