The time-honored tradition of Welcome Back Week at Roane State Community College is right around the corner. Events will be held Monday, August 25, through Thursday, August 28, 2025, with each of the college’s ten campuses participating.

Welcome Back Week is an opportunity for new and returning students to reunite with old friends, make new ones, and chow down on some free food. The events will also offer music, games, and Raider-themed giveaways.

The Welcome Back Week schedule is as follows:

• Roane County: Aug. 26, 11am to 2pm ET in the Vann Student Center
• Scott County: Aug. 26 and 27, 11am to 3pm ET
• Morgan County: Aug. 25, 12pm to 6pm ET and Aug 26, 12pm to 3pm ET
• Oak Ridge: Aug. 27, 11am to 2pm ET in the Coffey-McNally Building Atrium
• Campbell County: Aug. 27, 11am to 2pm ET
• Loudon County: Aug. 27, 8am to 11am ET
• Knox County Center for Health Sciences: Aug. 27, 11am to 1pm ET
• Fentress County: Aug. 25, 10am to 5pm CT
• Cumberland County: Aug. 27 and 28, 11am to 1pm CT
• Anderson County (Clinton): Aug. 25, 4:30pm – 5:30pm ET

Food and giveaway items will be available while supplies last, so students are advised to drop by early if their schedule allows. Full-term fall classes begin Wednesday, August 20.

The college’s communications team will also be capturing photos and videos during a portion of the Roane County Campus event. Students are invited and encouraged to participate.
