SEVEN ARRESTED IN FENTRESS DRUG BUST
From the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office:
The Fentress County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Pickett County Sheriff’s Office, the Counter Drug Task Force, and the Tennessee Department of Correction, recently completed a lengthy investigation into multiple individuals attempting to smuggle drugs into the Fentress County Jail.
Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of all agencies involved, the drop was intercepted before it ever reached the facility. As a result, 7 individuals have been charged in connection with this case.
This investigation is another example of our ongoing commitment to fighting the drug problem that threatens our community. We will continue to work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to keep drugs out of our jails, off our streets, and away from our families.
The safety of Fentress County will always remain our top priority.
