STUDENT CHARGED WITH THREATS MADE AGAINST CUMBERLAND SCHOOLS

Crossville, TN – A student at Cumberland County High School was charged with making a threat of mass violence following alarming statements made to students on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Several students reported to a teacher that a student made a statement threatening mass violence.
The District Threat Response Team consisting of school officials, and members of the Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Office of Homeland Security responded to assist in the investigation.
