18-YEAR-OLD INJURED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY I-40 CRASH

On September 10, 2025, a single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 40 at mile marker 327 in Cumberland County, involving an 18-year-old driver, Grant Harmon, from Missouri, operating a 2020 Toyota Camry. Harmon, who was wearing a seat belt, was traveling westbound when his vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway.
In an attempt to correct the trajectory, he overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross the center line and exit the left side of the roadway. The Camry then traversed the median and collided with the eastbound cable barrier, where it came to a stop. Harmon sustained injuries as a result of the incident, and no charges have been filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
No additional vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash.
