TWO ACCIDENTS HAPPEN AT THE SAME PLACE ON I-40 ONLY TEN HOURS APART

On the night of September 13, 2025, a minor collision occurred on Interstate 40 at mile marker 307 in Cumberland County, Tennessee, involving a 2008 Toyota Tundra driven by 34-year-old Jeymi Yolany Perez Rios and a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by 38-year-old Amanda Sue Holt. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the Tundra attempted to change lanes and sideswiped the Altima, leading both drivers to pull over to the right shoulder in a controlled stop. No injuries were reported, and charges against Perez Rios are pending investigation.
A little over 10 hours later, on the morning of September 14, 2025, at the same location, a 2007 Honda Accord driven by 19-year-old Brandon Stephens was involved in a single-vehicle accident. Traveling east in the left lane, the Accord drifted right, hit the guardrail, crossed both lanes, and struck a cable barrier before coming to a stop. Stephens was uninjured, and no charges were filed.
