$600 CRAFTSMAN MOWER GOES POSSIBLY STOLEN AFTER TRUCK TOWED

On September 15, 2025, at approximately 2:13 PM, the Crossville Police Department responded to a theft report on Maple Street in Crossville. The victim, a 45-year-old resident, reported that her truck and a Craftsman mower, valued at $600, were stolen while she was at work.
She mentioned that a crew was pressure washing the house, and the owner had informed her that items would be moved. A neighbor observed a tow truck at the residence around 11:00 AM, but the towing company was not identified.
Through investigation, Officer Jacob Ogle discovered that an individual had applied for a lost title for the truck that day, and the truck’s previous owner had it towed due to non-payment, deeming it a civil matter. No one admitted knowledge of the missing mower, and with no leads on its location, it was entered into the NCIC as stolen.
No suspects have been identified for the mower theft, and the case remains open.
