The Crossville Regional Planning Commission is set to discuss plans at noon today for a new Weigel’s store and car wash at 2444 and 2446 Genesis Road in Crossville, the current site of Stonehaus Winery. Weigel’s has submitted plans to the city planning commission, which are available to view at the city’s Legistar page here: https://crossvilletn.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx 

Stonehaus Winery, a 35-year fixture in Crossville, is exploring new locations for its operations as it considers selling the property, which is in high demand. The winery, distributed wholesale across Tennessee from Memphis to Bristol, plans to remain in business and to continue to sell products in grocery stores and wine stores statewide.

Bob and Belle Ramsey, owners of Stonehaus Winery said that Tenants who have other stores at the current Stonehaus location would receive 90 days’ notice before any closure. The situation remains fluid, with further updates expected as new information emerges.
