ONE INJURED IN I-40 CRASH IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

On September 25, 2025, a single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 40 at mile marker 336 in Cumberland County, Tennessee, involving a 2009 Honda FIS driven by 64-year-old Robert Jordan from Tennessee. The incident took place during heavy rain, causing Jordan, who was wearing a seat belt, to lose control of the vehicle while traveling west in the right lane.
The vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway and came to a stop in the median. Jordan sustained injuries, and no charges have been filed pending the outcome of the investigation. There were no passengers in the vehicle, and no additional vehicles were involved in the crash.
