WOMAN STEALS CAKES AND SODA FROM WALMART AND GETS AN ARREST WARRANT

On October 6, 2025, Officer Matt Charlock responded to a shoplifting incident at Wal-Mart located at 168 Obed Plaza, reported earlier that day. Upon arrival, he met with a store representative, who provided security footage showing a female, later identified as Madison S. Creason, entering the parking lot around 12:30 PM in a white Kia 4-door car.
The footage further depicted Creason entering the store, collecting items including a Frozen Caramel Cake ($32.34), a 40 oz Strawberry Cake ($16.97), a 12-pack of Coca Cola ($7.88), a 12-pack of Dr. Pepper ($7.88), and a Birds Eye Asian Stir Fry frozen dinner ($6.92), totaling approximately $71.99. Creason was seen leaving the store without paying, passing all points of sale.
The store representative noted additional items were likely stolen but could not be confirmed. Using the vehicle’s license plate and Facebook, Officer Charlock identified Creason, who used the alias Shashada Creason online, and learned she had an active warrant in Bledsoe County for a traffic offense. Bledsoe County officers confirmed her identity and provided two possible addresses.
The stolen items remain unrecovered, and Wal-Mart is pursuing a warrant for Creason’s arrest on charges of Theft of Property Involving Merchandise.
