CUMBERLAND COUNTY E-911 LAUNCHES CONFIDENTIAL SAFETY SURVEYS
From Cumberland County Emergency Communications District:
The Cumberland County Emergency Communications District (E-911) is continuing it’s proactive approach to better serve the citizens of Cumberland County through its Family and Residential Safety Survey. The survey (linked below) is a great way to share vital information about your home/family with the 911 Center that is stored in our secure database which, in turn, is shared with our responding agency personnel in the event of an emergency at your residence.
Example: You might give us info that you have someone in the home who would need extra assistance to lift, or suffers with PTSD, or maybe you have a child/adult on the spectrum and want us to know where they may wander/what their triggers may be. You may also share hidden key locations/lockbox codes, etc. These have already proved useful in responders gaining access to residents in emergency situations where the resident was unable to unlock the door, allowing the responders access without forced entry. To date we have had nearly 2000 residents complete the survey.
It was requested of the 911 Center to develop a similar survey for Business Owners. The survey linked below does just that. If you fall into this category, please take a few moments and share some updated information about your business, including who we may need to contact if something were to happen to/at your business after hours.
Important Note – None of your information is shared with anyone outside of the 911 Center (other than pertinent data given to responders dispatched to your residence business) for any reason.
Survey data is uploaded on a weekly to bi-weekly basis based on submission amount. If you have questions, please email them to:
We are proud to serve Cumberland County, its citizens and its businesses! Have a wonderful week!
