ROANE COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TONIGHT AT 6
The Roane County Commission will convene on Monday, November 10th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingston courthouse.
The meeting begins with a public hearing on a resolution to amend the county’s regional zoning rules for development in floodplain areas.
Under new business, the commission will first confirm four appointees to the Roane County Planning Commission: Allen Williams, Mike Parkerson, Chip Dunn, and Randy Scarborough.
Additional items include a resolution to impose a $12.50 fee on every state misdemeanor and felony case in county courts, as authorized by TCA Code 40-3-106; a call for state intervention to fix critical infrastructure and safety issues on Interstate 40 in Roane County; amendments to the school budget fund; and various appropriations transferring funds into specific subfunds.
