CROSSVILLE MAIN STREET PAVING TO START LATE SPRING, EXPECTED TO COMPLETE BY AUGUST
Crossville Mayor RJ Crawford has provided an update on the paving of Main Street following numerous resident questions as the sidewalk project nears completion.
According to information received directly from TDOT administrators, paving work on Main Street—a state road and therefore a TDOT-managed project in which the city has no direct control or involvement—is scheduled to begin in late spring. The project will cover the entire stretch from the hospital to the Scooters/Goodwill intersection at Elmore Road, with completion expected around August.
The mayor noted that the timeline could shift due to weather conditions, unforeseen issues during the milling process, or other delays. He encouraged residents to share the information with anyone who has been asking about the project.
