I-40 HYDROPLANE CRASH RESULTS IN NO INJURIES
On November 20, 2025, at approximately 12:02 PM, a single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 40 East at mile marker 322 in Cumberland County, Tennessee.
A 2004 Toyota (listed as “ECO” in the report) driven by 67-year-old Myra Bilbrey of Tennessee hydroplaned, lost control, and slid into the median. Ms. Bilbrey was wearing her seat belt and was not injured.
No passengers were listed in the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved. No charges were filed, and the Toyota was able to be driven from the scene.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report notes no injuries and minimal additional details.
