MINOR INJURIES IN FRIDAY’S SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
On Friday, November 21, 2025, at approximately 5:33 PM, emergency services responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 40 westbound at mile marker 313 in Tennessee. The incident involved a 2005 blue convertible Ford Mustang that left the roadway and crashed into the woods.
The vehicle was traveling westbound when it departed the left shoulder, continued off the pavement, and struck several trees before coming to a final rest deep in the wooded area adjacent to the interstate.
The sole occupant and driver, 22-year-old Erika Bell of Tennessee, was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. She remained in the vehicle upon arrival of first responders and reported suspected minor injuries.
No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident.
