The Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) recently honored two members of their Board of Supervisors with Distinguished Service Awards.

Beth Adams, who has served as a district supervisor since 2020, was recognized for five years of faithful service to the SWCD board.  Beth assists with several activities and events of the district and serves as an assistant to the district treasurer.

The SWCD board also recognized a member of the board for 40 years of service.  Jeff Dodson was elected to serve on the board in 1985 and has served as chairman since 1987.  He is very active in all district activities and donates a tremendous amount of time doing maintenance and repairs to the district’s rental equipment.

The SWCD greatly appreciates all the time and valuable contributions that Beth and Jeff have given in support of the district.
