ARMED ROBBERY AT PROFITS MARKET ON SATURDAY
On December 6, 2025, at about 9:35 p.m., Cumberland County deputies responded to an armed robbery at Profits Market in the Bakers Crossroads area.
They issued a BOLO for a male suspect wearing jeans, a black winter jacket, and a face mask, armed with a machete.
Authorities warned the public not to approach and to call 911 immediately if spotted. The search continued into the next day with no arrests reported, although a press release is expected to be issued by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office sometime soon.
